Established in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level domain extension is the sole TLD intended for personal sites only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other designations people are famous by. At first, solely 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to obtain john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Existing 3rd-level names remained running.

You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our company if you receive its EPP transfer authorization key from the current domain provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed.
